War Horse Literacy

Literacy

The war horse had a good story because the writer wanted people to see the conditions during the war. Not only for the humans but the horses, which were a big help for the war. The struggles of Albert, who had to give up his horse because the father sold it for money that they needed. After that both Albert and Joey have to go through a lot of obstacles to be able to be united again. Joey has to have a lot of owners until Albert finds him. The story did interest me because it shows the view point from those who had to exuberance the war and they don't just show what the people had to go through but they show how the horses fer traded and they have to a lot of work and once they fet weak they are shot on the spot because they don't want to be slowed down.

War Horse (Dramatic)

War Horse took place during the war, the horse takes a big part in the movie and it shows the struggles that owner and horse have to go through after they got separated. The horse was bough for 30 guinea, which is a lot of  money in dollars. Mr. Narracott realized that he had a lot of obstacles coming towards him and his family. The only thing to undo all the mess he has o his family into was to sell Joey the horse to the soldiers. This was so devastating for both Joey and Albert, that Albert could only think about how he was going to get Joey back. This main plot is how in life you have o work and do the unthinkable to get to someone that you love so much. This demonstrated between Albert and Joey, how Albert joined the Army to be able to get back to Joey. Joey had to experience of have different owners. .The movie

Dramatic
The story took place in England, where was where Albert's dad bought the horse. The family bought the horse for 30 guinea, which was a lot of money because they didn't own that much money. They lived in a farm and had to grow corps to be able to maintain themselves. The actors did a good job acting, they made it seem that it was real and believable. For example the part when Mr. Naraccott had to sell Joey, the horse because they had no money left and the land lord gave them a month to pay the rest of money that they owed him. The reaction of Albert was so believable that it makes the audience feel the emotion in that scene. They had famous actors in this movie they are Peter Mulla, who acted as Albert's father and Jeremy Irvine, he was Albert and he was the one who played the main character with Joey the horse.

Isis blog

Barack Obama requested for the congress to support his proposal to use the United States armed forces to stop ISIL from trying to rule other territories. The presidents wants to get ahead of them because their intentions are to do terrorist attacks in different countries and the United states is included.  Iraqi Christian, Yezidi, and Turkmen are being attacked because of their religion or ethnic minority groups. Barack Obama wants the Middle East and Africa to join the fight against ISIL. Barack Obama has already taken action by sending U.S. military and they are directing rallies against the ISIL in Iraq and Syria. Not only have tthey taken the life of their own kind but they have killed U.S. citizens and the way they kill people is so brutal.

Prohibition

Prohibition changed the society completely in 1920 until 1933. This came to action because people who were religious so it as the "Devil's Drink", and they didn't want people to die from it.The manufacture, sale, and the transporting of any alcohol beverage was prohibited. This was being adopted by a lot of countries and the United States adopted it in 1920. Citizens did not agree with the new law that they started  drinking illegally which caused bootleggers who were bringing  alcohol illegally into the United States. They created the speakeasies, who were the ones who brought the alcohol and sold it to illegal stores and nightclubs. Where people who wanted to have a drink would go and they had to try to keep a secret because if the police saw they confiscate and you would get arrested and fined . People were tired of this so they started marching on the street for the Prohibition to be repealed, it was repealed in 1933.
